Will Criminals Ever Learn That You Can't Cheat Vegas?

I don't know about you, but I can't turn on the TV without finding at least one documentary on Las Vegas; most of them being about the security measures casinos have in place to catch criminals.

I guess greedy people do not watch these shows, because if they did, they wouldn't continue to do stupid things like, let's see... use counterfeit money in casinos!

That's exactly what happened at Caesars Palace, where a counterfeit ring targeting the casino was recently busted. The short story is that two people put $60,000 worth of fake money in slot machines at Caesars and every cent of it was traced back to them.

The best part about the story is that, not only did these two idiots use counterfeit money, they signed up for a players card to receive hotel comps! Talk about a new level of greed.

5. I do believe that the casino's security measures are set up to protect the CASINO. Sadly, I don't think they would care if someone robbed you in the middle of the floor, as long as it didn't keep people from playing.

I learned how to refrain
Trying to win was insane
My efforts were in vain
Staying away from casinos I'm able to retain
All my wages & that's how I beat them at their own game.

7. I don't think its strictly true that you can't cheat Vegas. Lot's of people have, I just think its really not worth the time and effort. There are millions of ways to get rich in this life, legally. Why go through all the effort of trying to steal from them?

10. While in Vegas on a business trip, my husband and I were in one of the strip casinos playing slots, and while there, an asian gang lifted $7,000 from my husbands jacket pocket. They were not pursued, nor were they caught, and we had just lost the $7,000...The hotel later sent a basket of fruit to our room. How generous of them!
